Barker Online Marketing was set up in 2009 and is run by Anita Barker. Prior to setting up the business she worked in online marketing since 1997, initially for agencies working on brands such as Amazon, Ask Jeeves and BT, then for Wanadoo/Orange, Sky and Haven Holidays. With this wealth of experience, she set up the business to help small to medium companies to make more of their websites using her marketing expertise. Our marketing services include website build and management, search optimisation, social network consultancy and email marketing and pretty much everything else too. We have a wide range of clients covering many sectors including legal, finance, wellbeing and family services....

Walks This Way: I created a clear and easy to use website for this new business start up.

Cotton & Leaf: We redesigned this site to improve sales and optimise for search.

Impact Hub Inverness: Impact Hub wanted a fully integrated booking system to allow members and non members to be able to book hot desks and meeting rooms seemlessly. We also redesigned the site to better communicate this and their role within the business community.

Rise From Cancer: To create a clear and soothing website to assist those in their recovery from cancer. As well as creating the website we created the company ID.

Athena Business : Tanja wanted to create a website to attract new students and teachers from all over the EU.

Medi PR: Nia was starting her PR agency from scratch so as well as creating a stylish website we created her corporate ID.

Anita did a wonderful job creating a new look and feel for our website. She was patient with us as we worked through the process of what we wanted / needed and made really helpful suggestions as we did this. Very good communications throughout the process which made everything easier during a busy time. Would definitely recommend and will certainly work with Anita again in the future. Anita has been brilliant. We had an inital zoom call and talked through all my requirements she then quickly put a quote together and was able to get me into her diary promptly. Anita has made the process very clear, with great expertise for Wix. I am not that technically minded, so she worked out the best way to get my website to work more efficiently for my needs and helped my turn multiple pages into dynamic pages. I am really pleased with the work from Barker Online Marketing. I had some glitches in a current website that needed mending and I needed to sort the SEOs out. Within less than a week I had everything sorted. Communication throughout was excellent and I now have my website just how I want it. I would definitely recommend. ...

Anita was really professional and made the whole process so easy. I had procrastinated to get a website for ages fearing it would take a lot of my time. She shared a toolkit to help me get clarity on my brand positioning and proposition and guided me through the process, giving expert ideas and suggestions to improve the site. I have found Anita to be really easy to work with - having an initial chat on Zoom was really helpful. Everything that I have asked for has been done quickly and efficiently and I will certainly use her services again if the need arises - fees were very acceptable particularly as it saved me many hours trying to sort the issues myself. Definitely recommend...
