Marisa (owner of Hip to Wix) was great to work with. I had her take my existing site and give it a facelift with the editor X program. I told her what I wanted and how I wanted it to look and she delivered. She really exceeded in guiding me through the process; sometimes there are too many options. It’s nice to have someone who has done this more than once or twice (I can often go down the rabbit hole). The editor X program is worth it. Just adds a bit of pizazz to make you look more professional. I highly recommend using it and Marisa. Thumbs up....

Marisa is a top level talent, let's start there. I quickly saw her ability when I was shopping for someone to help me create a logo and she has not disappointed, in fact, she has exceeded every expectation that I've had at every step of the way. On top of her talent, her customer service is on par with the best. It's unique to have someone that has the artistic talents AND the ability to communicate and deliver with such efficiency. I wish there were more than five stars to give. Honestly, she was amazing to work with. Responsive, professional, knowledgable, quick. We were on a time crunch and she was all over it, she met every deadline. The asthetic of the site is beautiful, the functionality is perfect. I can totally see why she's so highly rated already. I plan to keep using her to update my site as needed and I'd 100% recommend her to anyone else....

I can't recommend Hip to Wix highly enough. Marisa was exactly the artist/technologist I needed to make my website a reality (after more wasted time and money than I care to admit). And I was not an easy client; aside from a website design and build, I needed a new logo, photo, digital portfolio and what the pros call "concept design" for my home page, all of which she handled expertly and with great creativity. She even came up with an ingenious workaround after discovering an issue with my gmail account.
Marisa got my brand identity immediately and ran with it, conceiving and executing the site design in a way I could never have imagined. Her obvious enthusiasm for the project – she borrowed the perfect on-brand T-shirt for me to wear in my photo – was a major bonus. I AM SO IN LOVE WITH MY NEW SITE and have gotten incredible feedback. Two prospective clients contacted me within days of the site going live!
Because she was recommended by Wix, I expected Marisa to handle herself with utmost professionalism. What I did not expect was her emotional intelligence – I needed someone to “take me by the hand,” and she did, firmly but sensitively. So you can count on her for speedy turnaround and other “brass tacks” capabilities but also for exceptional interpersonal skills.
I would use Hip to Wix again in a heartbeat. Marisa is not only hip to Wix; she’s just hip, and I now have a supercool website as a result....
