Jessica Webster: Jessica needed a gallery-inspired website that felt refined, immersive, and art-first. The goal was to combine a high-end portfolio with a global e-commerce system for selling printed works, without falling into the overly commercial feel of standard e-commerce layouts. The site also needed to do more than showcase the work. It had to support private collections, selected trade access, and a substantial biography section that could bring together her background, technique, inspiration, exhibitions, reviews, and more in one place. The nature of some of the work also called for a more layered approach to how certain collections would be presented and accessed. Jessica had a very specific visual direction for the shop and catalogue experience, but the standard Wix e-commerce layouts were too restrictive to achieve it. To make that possible, I moved away from the default storefront layout and created a fully custom front-end experience that kept the focus on the artwork rather than the usual shop interface. I connected the custom design to the underlying e-commerce system so the site could remain visually tailored while still supporting the practical side of selling online. This included custom product and catalogue pages, custom multi-currency functionality for international sales, and a more considered structure for browsing and viewing collections. I also introduced clear navigation and sub-navigation, built tailored collection pages, and created members-only areas for exclusive works. Alongside that, I created a well-structured biography section that brings together Jessica’s background, technique, inspiration, exhibitions, reviews, and more in one place, giving her a stronger PR and promotional tool.

Bushtracks Africa: Bushtracks Africa had an outdated Classic Wix site built entirely with static pages and lightboxes — no CMS, inconsistent design, and a confusing structure. I restructured their entire sitemap for better flow and usability, converting all content into a scalable CMS architecture to streamline updates and future growth. The site underwent a complete visual transformation, starting from wireframes and a high-fidelity redesign in Figma — immersive full-width imagery, refined layouts, and an elegant design system that highlights their safari experiences and travel services. The result is a clean, robust, and intuitive website that allows Bushtracks Africa to showcase their offering with clarity and impact — visually expressive, easy to navigate, and built for long-term flexibility.

Voxdale: Voxdale is an innovative Belgian hardware design and engineering company that creates future-forward products using cutting-edge technology. When we first partnered, their website was an outdated WordPress build that no longer reflected their brand or technical capabilities. We began with a complete migration and redesign, laying a stronger foundation for future growth. Over the past three years, the site has evolved into a robust digital platform — now featuring an extensive case study section, a regularly updated blog, and integrated links to external publications and marketing channels like LinkedIn. The refreshed design incorporates modern layouts, bold calls to action, and clear navigation, allowing Voxdale to showcase their technical depth and project portfolio effectively. Beyond the visual overhaul, we implemented SEO optimisation, multilingual support (English, French, and German), and a careers section to streamline recruitment directly through the site. This is a long-term, ongoing collaboration — continuously expanding the site with new content, event landing pages, and strategic updates to ensure it evolves in step with Voxdale’s innovation.

DDD Dashboard: The Data-Driven Districts (DDD) program supports a culture of data-driven decision-making in South Africa’s public education system. The online dashboard visualises school-level data and learner performance metrics from the national School Administration and Management Systems, giving educational officials real-time insight to make transformative decisions every day. The previous WordPress site was outdated and no longer reflected the scale or sophistication of the platform. Working under a tight timeline, we delivered a complete redesign and rebuild that aligned with the launch of DDD 2.0, the program’s upgraded data platform. The new site features: A phased login transition, allowing users to access both legacy and new versions during rollout. A blog for educational updates and thought leadership. A dramatically improved support page with downloadable assets and training materials. A product demo, event pages, and on-page registration for key initiatives like the annual Data Summit. Custom illustrations and visuals to enhance clarity and engagement. The DBE team noted: “The expertise of the team was a key enabler in us being able to launch a website in record time. The site was one of many moving parts in a time-sensitive project, and the team's insight, guidance, and quick grasp of our strategic priorities ensured the new site achieved everything we intended. The ongoing support has made Jolene a much-valued partner to our team.” This project reflects not just a visual transformation, but a strategic communication platform that continues to evolve alongside the DDD initiative — empowering educators nationwide with better access to data and insight.

Samsar Resources: SAMSAR was launched to build a profitable, repurposed lithium-ion battery circular ecosystem across the Middle East. Their operations include asset financing, battery module redesign, and lean logistics, enabling large-scale reuse of lithium-ion batteries. Through their NTH Life™ technology, SAMSAR monitors and manages leased batteries across applications such as cargo and four-wheel mobility, two- and three-wheel mobility, micro-mobility, heavy-duty equipment, robotics, stationary storage, marine, and distributed charging. When SAMSAR first reached out, they had a basic landing page that didn’t reflect their vision, brand, or market positioning. The brief was to design an Apple-inspired digital presence — minimalistic, high-impact, and visually sophisticated. I created a complete redesign from scratch, introducing: A refined brand direction with an updated colour palette and typography system. A clean, technology-forward layout using immersive imagery and spacious design. A fully responsive MVP website that communicates innovation, clarity, and trust. Since launch, SAMSAR’s business and team have grown significantly. We’re now developing Phase 2 — expanding the MVP into a full, feature-rich platform that reflects the company’s evolution and growing global reach.

Frankie Key West: Frankie Flemming is a professional makeup artist featured in several major publications. Before this project, she didn’t have a website and relied entirely on social media to attract clients. In collaboration with Jordan from Branding Bungalow, who developed Frankie’s brand identity, I created a vibrant, high-fidelity website that brings her brand to life. Built on Wix Studio, the design embraces a neo-brutalist aesthetic — bold, colourful, and unapologetically full of personality. The result is a visually striking, high-performing site that captures Frankie’s confidence, creativity, and glam energy. It’s a platform that not only elevates her brand presence but also gives her the professional foundation to scale beyond social media.

Shootsy.io: Shootsy.io is a SaaS startup offering email marketing campaigns as a service. When they approached me, they had no logo, no website, and no written content — a completely blank slate. I created a simple brand identity, including a logo, colour palette, and typography, wrote the website content, and designed a high-fidelity, visually striking website. The site features custom illustrations, icons, and artwork that enhance the SaaS branding and create a cohesive, professional presence. Built in the Classic Wix editor nearly four years ago, the website has stood the test of time, combining clean layouts, effective typography, and vibrant colours. It serves as a polished MVP, giving Shootsy.io a professional, fully realised platform to showcase their services and attract clients.

Voxdale SimLab: Voxdale wanted a separate website to showcase their advanced CFD and FEA simulation services, distinct from their main hardware design platform. The typical audience for this site is highly technical, so the brief was clear: no flashy interactions, no heavy imagery, no unnecessary animation — just a clean, professional layout that allows users to access the information they need quickly and efficiently. We started by creating a standalone logo and a new colour scheme that extended the Voxdale parent brand while giving SimLab its own identity. Using a carefully chosen Wix Studio template as the foundation, we customised it to create a simple, structured site that balances clarity with professionalism. Key features include a straightforward information hierarchy, proof of technical expertise, and downloadable portfolio resources, giving visitors everything they need to understand the service offering at a glance. The site now functions as a strong initial marketing tool, providing a professional presence for highly technical clients and collaborators. We continue to collaborate on ongoing improvements, including future enhancements informed by an upcoming AI-driven discoverability audit, ensuring the platform evolves alongside Voxdale’s services.
