Event Countdown Timer adds a live countdown to the event pages on your site, so visitors can see how much time is left before an event begins. The timer reads each event's start date from the Events app, which lets it stay in sync when an event is rescheduled.
The countdown shows days, hours, minutes and seconds. As the start time gets closer, it can switch to more natural wording, such as "Starting in 45 minutes." You can also set the timer to count down to a custom deadline, like the end of early-bird pricing or a registration cutoff, and have it return to the event countdown once that deadline passes. Optional urgency messages and colors can appear as the event approaches, which may help prompt visitors to register in time.
The widget offers seven digit styles and fourteen seasonal themes, some with optional particle animations. You can adjust colors, fonts, sizing and alignment to match your site's design. All text is editable, so the timer can be translated into other languages. The timer stays hidden on canceled, draft, past and date-TBD events. Because it sits on the Event Details Page, one setup carries across all of your events.
