Currency Converter lets visitors see the prices on your pages in their own currency. Choose the currency your prices are written in, pick which currencies to offer, and a small corner button opens the list. The choice is remembered in the visitor's browser.
Rates come from the free Frankfurter service: the European Central Bank daily reference rates, or other public sources if those are unavailable (the menu says which and shows the date). They update about once per working day, so they are indicative only, not what a bank or payment provider will charge. About 30 currencies are available (for example USD, EUR, GBP, INR, JPY, AUD, CAD). Currencies without a rate from this source, such as AED, are not offered.
Options: replace the price or show both, round to whole numbers, guess the starting currency from the region in the visitor's browser language (not their real location), exclude parts of a page, and name price elements split over several tags.
If rates cannot be loaded and none are saved in the visitor's browser, prices stay in your own currency and the button shows a warning mark.
